Mrs. Alberta Baker McQuillar, 81, widow of Roosevelt McQuillar, entered into eternal rest on Tuesday, April 24, 2018, at Kershaw Health, Camden, SC. Born in Lee County, she was a daughter of the late Burrell Baker, Sr. and Elvira Dixon Baker. A public viewing will be held from 2 - 6 pm today at Square Deal Funeral Home Chapel, 106 McIntosh Street, Bishopville, SC. Funeral services will be held at 3 pm Monday, April 30, 2018, Mechanicsville United Methodist Church, 184 Lake Ashwood Road, Bishopville, SC, with the Rev. Annie H. Sistrunk, pastor. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. Mrs. McQuillar leaves to cherish her memories: one son, Ernest Baker of Bishopville; two daughters, Daisy McQuillar and Jeanette M. Holmes of Camden; six grandchildren; eight greatgrandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends.
