Ms. Mae Frances Wells Addison, 91, was born on April 7, 1927 to the late Alice Wells and Malachi Jackson. She departed this life on Saturday, December 15, 2018 at McLeod Regional Medical Center, Florence, SC.
In 1975, she dedicated her life to Jehovah God as a baptized Christian.
Funeral services were held at 1 pm Friday, December 21, 2018 from the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah Witness, 60 Bethune Road, Bishopville, SC with Brother Jerry b. Ellison, speaker. Interment followed in the Boone Memorial Garden, LPAC Cemetery Road, Bishopville, SC
Ms. Addison leaves to mourn her passing, daughters; Ruth Andrews (David) of Newark, NJ, Rosa Ann Scarborough (Eddie) of Bishopville, SC, Patricia Ann King of Washington, DC, Los Addison of Bishopville, SC, Mary L. Wells Montgomery (Holly) of Sumter, SC and Geraldine Wells Sanders (Nile) of Maryland; special daughter, Barbara Durant of Bishopville, SC; sons: Kenny Addison of Bishopville, SC, Johnny Addison (Jean) of Washington, DC, Eddie Scarborough, Jr. of Bishopville, SC and Sandy Richardson of Columbia, SC; one sister, Alice Wells McDowell of Washington, DC; special sister sisters, Virginia Woods (Matt), Naomi McDonald, Freddie Mae Durant, and Ethel Mae Sharper; reared three grands as her own children, Lewis, Angela, and Antoine King; eldest granddaughter, Maretta Andrews, special granddaughters, Shawnee Hunter and Sharon Charles; and a host of loving grands, great-grands, great-great-grands whom she loved dearly; and a host of nieces, nephews whom she loved dearly.
She was preceded in death by her sons, Leroy Addison, Willie Addison, Fred Douglas Addison, Jake (Dip) Wells and Matthew Wells.
