Latonya "Tonya" Yvette Rubin was born on February 19, 1984 to Gloria Bracey and the late Edward Lewis Rubin. She departed from this earthly home on Monday, June 17, 2019 at her residence in Bishopville, SC.

Tonya was a loving, caring, kind and affectionate person that no matter the circumstance, she wore a smile on her face. She enjoyed different genres of music, reading, doing crossword puzzles and rocking the latest fashions.

Tonya attended the public schools of Lee County, South Carolina.

She leaves to cherish in her precious memories; her daughters, Marrissa Rubin and Gloria Durant, both of the home; her mother, Gloria Bracey of Paterson, NJ; one sister, Gequare (Joshua) Cook of Bishopville, SC; two brothers, Edward "Terrell" Bracey of the home and Jamar Rubin of Camden, SC; her maternal grandmother, Martha Simon of Paterson, NJ; her paternal grandmother, Janie Mae Baker of Bishopville, SC; her great grandmother, Emma Hough of Sumter, SC; three nieces, Destinie Bracey, Sy'Ni Green and Monica Bracey; three nephews, Romeyon Terrel, Kaiden Bracey and Kendrick Toomer; a host of aunts, uncles, cousins other relatives and friends.
