Obituary for Bruce Bradley, Sr.
On March 23, 2020, at his childhood home in West Philadelphia, God saw fit to call home one of his strongest warriors to rest from labor and illness.
Bruce Kennard Bradley, Sr. was the only off spring born to the union of the late Isaac and Annie Cooper Bradley on November 13, 1954.
He was the first generation to be born outside of South Carolina of both families.
At a young age, Bruce accepted Christ and was baptized. From the beginning Big Bruce was destined to lead an exciting and fulfilling journey. He was a lifetime learner and adventurer. Big Bruce had a thirst for knowledge and tinkering.
Mr. Bradley showed signs of extraordinary artistic ability around the age of 10. His loving parents nurtured that talent by sending him to Prestigious art schools and he continued to make masterpieces until his health failed.
Mr. Bradley leaves to cherish his memory; one son, Bruce Bradley, II of Philadelphia, PA; eight grandchildren, Isaiah, India, Ke'Shawn, Shaniyah, Zhari, Tariq, Ahzin and Ayanna; one aunt, Mary Lou; and a host of cousins and friends.
