Obituary for Thomas S Scarborough
Mr. Thomas S. Scarborough, 47, passed on Tuesday, April 7, 2020 at his residence in Bishopville, SC.
Born in Lee County, he was a son of Curlee and Thelma Thomas Scarborough.
Thomas joined Mt. Hermon Baptist Church at an early age and was baptized by Rev. Williams.
Thomas was a 1990 graduate of Bishopville High School. He attended the University of South Carolina where he received a BS Degree in Math. He was employed by Honda in Florence, SC and the Coca Cola Plant of Bishopville, SC.
He enjoyed helping people in the community. He liked reading and cooking. His mother loved him dearly.
A memorial service for Mr. Scarborough will be announced at a later date.
He leaves to cherish his memories: his parents, Curlee and Thelma Thomas Scarborough of Bishopville, SC; four brothers, Curlee (Cindy) Scarborough, Jr. and Kenneth Scarborough of Bishopville, SC, and Edgar and Henry Murray Scarborough of Columbia, SC; five sisters, Robin Montgomery of Camden, SC, Linda Scarborough, Debra (Anthony) Kent of Columbia, SC, Ethel (Kelvin) Moyd of Chester, SC and Wanda Scarborough of Bishopville, SC; three aunts, Catherine Brisbon of Columbia, SC, Mary Helen Thomas of Philadelphia, PA and Lula Mae Scarborough of New York; a special nephew reared in the home, Carlus Scarborough; nieces, nephews, cousins and friends who will miss him dearly.
Thomas was preceded in death by a sister Ann and his grandparents.
