Sister Beulah Mae Williams Regester was born on November 14, 1927 in Bishopville, South Carolina, to the late Raymond Williams and Louise McCain Williams. She departed this earthly life on Monday, May 4, 2020, at the home her daughter in Bishopville, South Carolina,
She attended the public schools of Lee County.
Beulah was united in Holy Matrimony to the late Brother Henry Lee Regester, Sr. This union was blessed with a beautiful blended family that included eight children. Henry Lee Regester, Jr., Rosa Lee Williams, Mary Johnson and Gertrude Crawford preceded her in death.
At an early age she joined Jerusalem Stuckey Baptist Church where she served faithfully on the Gospel Choir, Senior Choir and Missionary Ministry. She was a true servant of God that led and taught by examples. When her health failed, she kept the faith and kept loving life to the very end.
This awesome woman of God and teacher of life leaves to cherish her memories, a daughter Angela Renee (James) Wilson of Bishopville, SC; step-children, Thomasina Braxton of Baltimore, MD, Sarah Williams and Leonard Regester of New York, NY; two sisters-in-law, Beulah Hickmon and Lucille Williams; one granddaughter, LaDeidra (Nicholas) Sumter and one great-grandson, Nicholas Sumter, Jr. of Charlotte, NC; 22 step-grandchildren; 17 + step-great-grandchildren;one great-great-grandchild; special nephews, nieces, cousins and other relatives and friends. Her extended family include, Linda (Charles) Self, Mandy Self, Marty S. (Steve) Phillips, Little Thaddeus Phillips and her devoted nephew/son, Charles B. Williams. Special friends include, Ella Ree Gamble, Sandra Gamble and Earline Crawford Felder.
She was preceded in death by six siblings; Andrew Williams, Catherine Moses James Williams, Janie Abraham, Louise Benjamin, and Joe Nathan Williams.
