Mrs. Annie Mae Joe Robinson was born in Lee County on June 8, 1958 to the late Georgia Mae Rice Joe and Ernest Davis, Sr. Annie departed her earthly life on Wednesday, July 22, 2020 at Sumter East Health and Rehabilitation Center in Sumter, SC. She was a member of the St. Mark Missionary Baptist Church. Annie was educated in the public schools of Lee County and graduated from Mt. Pleasant High School in Elliott, South Carolina. For several years, she was a dedicated employee of Lee County Disabilities and Special Needs Board in Bishopville, SC where she retired after 22 years of service.
Annie was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend. She enjoyed listening to music.
Annie leaves cherished memories to her beloved husband; Mr. Lucious Robinson of Bishopville, SC; her loving children; daughter, Luvenia Ann Robinson (Terrell Mickens) and son, Christopher (Adrianne) Robinson of Bishopville, SC; one sister, Dorothy Joe of Brooklyn, New York; four brothers, Clinton (Evelyn) Rice, Jimmy (Janette) Joe of Sumter, SC, Rev. Ernest (Bernadine) Davis, Jr. of Whiteville, NC, and Ben Davis of Columbia, SC;five sisters-in-law, Rebecca Joe and Mary Lu Fuller of Bishopville, SC, Ann Pearl Robinson of Raleigh, NC; two aunts, Sue Montgomery of Sumter, SC and Essie Toney of Bishopville, SC; special friends, Johnnie Mae Toney, Eartha Young and Michelle Hickman; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, ; three brothers, Elie Joe, Leroy Joe and Willie Joe; and one sister, Emma Lue Davis.
